The Paint Stick

The Paint Stick is a premium 16" stabilized wood paint stick that is twice as dense as a standard paint stick and silky smooth to the touch.

What makes our paint sticks so magnificent is the process we use to refine them.

Each starts as a 16 inch birch hardwood paint stick and is then heat-treated for a day and cooled under vacuum seal to remove all moisture.

Next the sticks enter a vacuum chamber filled with resin and color where the air between the wood fibers is replaced with liquid resin.  A trip from the vacuum chamber back to the lab oven solidifies this resin and gives our paint sticks their double density and beautiful colors.

Finally the paint stick is hand sanded from 40 grit through 220 to flatten and smooth the surfaces and sealed with a semi-gloss lacquer.

Each paint stick is beautifully unique with colors accentuating the wood grain, and are easy to clean.
